Gaming; Fashion; Lifestyle – Three exciting new stages announced for SitC 2017!

Summer in the City will play host to three great new areas dedicated to gaming, fashion & beauty, and lifestyle when the show returns this August.

The Gaming Stage will see leading YouTube gamers battling it out in live tournaments, taking questions from fans, and talking all things gaming in a series of lively panels. The brand new stage will be the focal point of a larger Gaming Zone where you will be able to check out the latest games and apps, duke it out in eSports competitions and try for a high score in our old-school arcade.

Gamers such as Emma Blackery, George Benson, Andy Castell, Morgz, xAcception, Alex Brooks, The Orion Sound and BirdkeeperToby have already been announced for Summer in the City 2017, and there are many more to come.
We’re sure we won’t be able to keep our other special guests away from the action – Jack and Dean, Pete Bucknall, Luke Cutforth and Roomie were all involved in last year’s gaming tournaments on the Main Stage, and Evan Edinger will be keen to defend his Super Smash Bros title!

Also debuting at Summer in the City 2017 is the Fashion & Beauty Stage. This year’s show features our strongest ever line-up of beauty gurus, with the likes of Roxxsaurus, Leyla Rose, Saffron Barker, Helen Anderson, Lucy and Lydia, Chanel Ambrose and Lewys Ball all in attendance, so the new stage is sure to be a real crowd pleaser.

The fashion-conscious among you will be able to get tips from live ‘Get Ready With Me’ sessions, hear from your fave creators in Q&As and discussion panels, and check out the latest looks as top YouTubers hit the catwalk in a daily fashion show. As with gaming, there’ll be a wider Fashion and Beauty Zone to explore, giving you the chance to try out new products and get a closer look at the clothes and jewellery on show.

Want to see a cooking demo? Take part in a workout session? Watch some live painting? The new Lifestyle Zone will bring all of Summer in the City’s cooking & baking, health & fitness, sport and art content together into a single dedicated area to ensure you don’t miss a thing. Talented creators such as SORTEDfood, The Lean Machines, Scola Dondo, Barry Lewis, BananaJamana, Gabriel Sey, Rapha Blueberry and Daniel J. Layton are already on the roster, and the Lifestyle Zone opens up opportunities for many more exciting YouTubers to attend, so keep your eyes peeled for our next wave of announcements!
