Creator & Industry DAY

Friday 9th August is Summer in the City’s Creator & Industry Day. This is an entire day dedicated to education, networking and inspiration. There are two types of ticket available for this day, one for creators and another for industry professionals. You can read more information about the differences between each ticket below.

Creator Day Tickets

Creator Tickets give you access to the Expo Hall and panel rooms, which will have a schedule full of topics that are key to learning more about creating videos for the online world. If you’re just starting out, looking to turn YouTube into your career, or are already a full time ‘Tuber, this day is for you! Seminars and discussion panels will cover topics such as working with brands, story telling, management in online video, advertising standards, production equipment and earning a living through your creative work.

It’s also a great opportunity to get a first look at the Expo Hall before 10,000 fans descend on it over the weekend! You’ll be the first people to chat to our sponsors and exhibitors on the show floor, all of whom are at the event because they are interested in online content creators. Many will be showcasing new technology that could help you with your next project, others will be interested in working with creators on upcoming campaigns, so bring your business cards!

Industry Tickets

An Industry Ticket will get you into all of the creator sessions mentioned above, and the expo hall, but also give you access to our industry track of panels and presentations. These sessions are targeted at people who work in or around the online video industry. If you’re new to this world, there will be introductions to show you and your team what online creators are all about – their diversity, their reach and their talent. We’ll be showing you why you should be working with digital creators, and how you can both make the most out of the relationship.

Furthermore, all industry ticket holders will have an invitation to our Industry Reception taking place on-site once the programme has finished. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet industry attendees and some of the top digital creators from the UK and overseas in a relaxed setting; to discuss what you’re working on with people who could help take your project to the next level!

Please note that Industry Tickets are strictly 18+
